A FEW WORDS FROM MARISA

The artist who has never stopped creating

My father has always painted. Since he was a child, art has been his driving force, his refuge, and his way of being in the world.

He created his first pieces when he was just 14, and I remember watching him create my whole life. If he'd already come home from work and we couldn't find him, we knew where he was: in his studio, with the materials in his hands, creating.

I remember accompanying him to many exhibitions and gallery visits, seeking perspectives that connected with his work, inspiration, and challenges.

But what impresses me most is not everything he has achieved, but his perseverance: He has never stopped creating, not even when no one was looking. Not even when he had to combine it with a salaried job and family responsibilities.

For him, art is neither a hobby nor a profession: it is a necessity.

A way to express what you have inside and channel your emotions.

A vital emergency that ignores schedules, sales, or recognition.

He has always created in his free time, taking time to rest, despite the fatigue and obligations of everyday life.

That passion, accompanied by constant dedication, is one of the things I admire most about him.

And it's precisely that perseverance, that ability to keep creating no matter what, that makes his work so special.

Each of Sebastià's paintings is the fruit of more than 50 years of sincere dedication.

But his work is not just what you see, but everything that lies behind it: a lifetime of emotion, sacrifice, and love for art.
